Everyone who is living in this world have their own inspiration that able to make them to become a better person in the future. Well I have my own inspiration too. My dream and ambition is to become a commercial airline pilot one day. Therefore, Mr Johan Farid Khairuddin or his initial "JFK" is my inspiration. He is currently working as a Senior First Officer in our local low cost airline which is AirAsia X.
During his school time, he was an accounting student. He thought he could not make it to become a pilot because pilot requires students from science stream and he find it hard to become what he wish to become. He never give up chasing his dream and realizing he could work really well in accounting, he applied for one of the flying academy located in Australia.
After he finished his studies, he became a radio deejay in Red FM. When he was on his way back from work, he received a phone call from the Australia flying school saying that he is offered to join the flying academy. Without hesitating, he instantly accepted the offer. After spending 2 years in Australia and finished his course, he came back to Malaysia and again received offer to work in our local airline. Up till today, he is still flying with AirAsia X and he is looking forward to gain the title "Captain" within couple of years. He never give up on his dream and its like a dream come true for him knowing that he is a successful pilot nowadays. I wanna become like him one day.
