End of my Proficiency English lesson

As usual a start to something must have their end. It’s either a good or a bad ending. In this situation, obviously is a good ending with my friends and our beloved Proficiency English lecturer, Madam Soraya Sharifuddin.

Madam, I still remember the first time I entered your class, your face look fierce but I didn’t know that you are a nice person. To be honest you are one of the best lecturer that I ever met. No offence to other lecturers but your kind of lecturer is my favourite type. I still remember when I introduced myself on my first day, you were kind of shocked when you find out I was in Mandarin school. It is such a good first day in your lesson.

Then hours by hours, days by days and weeks by weeks pass by, you taught me a lot. You taught me to become a more useful person to other lecturer, friends and even to my family. I will always remember the advice you gave to me. One thing about madam that I will carry along for my entire life is the way when you walk into class and tell us about your stories or past experience. We really enjoyed listening to every single story you told us. I never expect my English lecturer would be this amazing.

You made my English became better too. You always joke with the what is the word ermm.. “bimbo bimbo” yaa that is one of the word I remember and I will always look like a bimbo to you because I love being bimbo. Im so so so glad to have the opportunity to meet you madam. It is a massive happiness for me to have a kind-hearted lecturer like you. Thank you for all those useful information you gave to us. I will always keep in my head of what you said to me.

To be honest, from outside I felt quite happy because I finally will end my first semester as the KUPTMKL student. But at the same time I felt quite upset in the inside. Where can I find a good lecturer like you? Where can I find any other good friends like my classmates? I will miss all those laughs, happiness we all had together. I will miss to eat lunch with my friends. Madam, I will also miss to hear your voice in the class. Can you do me a favour? Can you be our lecturer again for the next semester?

Thank you again for all the advice, useful information you gave to us. I wish madam all the best for the future. It would be nice if madam could become our lecturer again for the next semester. Thank you again Madam Soraya and I love you as a lecturer <3.

Reflection on the Proficiency English Roleplay

Proficiency English Roleplay just passed last week. I and my group members really did a great job and all of us are quite satisfied with our work. What I earned from this Roleplay task is that I able to have higher level of confidence to talk in English and also able to speak English way more fluent than before. I felt that Roleplay is a huge success for me because I used to be sucks in English, I tried my best to improve it with the help of our lecturer, Madam Soraya. Even though up till today my quality in English is still not that good, at least I appreciate the effort showed by Madam Soraya and her willing to make me become a better person and help me to improve the quality of English in me. Thank you Madam Soraya.

I also felt that among all the assignments given by the lecturer in KUPTM, I enjoyed the most is Roleplay. Why? This is because we acted and all of us are actually quite good in acting. I used to felt quite scared before the roleplay. I felt scared that I couldn’t fulfill what my group members wanted me to do. Instead of looking down on myself, I got support from my own group members. They told me to do the best and it is okay if it ended in a bad way, because I tried my best. But thank god it didn’t end in a bad or unwanted way thank god.

English roleplay require us to act while talk in front of people. I told my mom about the roleplay and her response was like “ wow that’s quite good, let’s see if my child know how to act”. I felt like “what mom? Seriously?  I’m not a good actor okay”.  Mom also always gave me advice to just try my best in every task given.

I became a good person after what mom said to me. After English roleplay, I became a better person than before. I able to talk, act and show my stupid face in front to the crowd. Working in a group is quite fun and adventurous actually because it requires good understanding between group members.  

I became a better person and able to show my face expression to my classmates. It was such a fun day for us.

Thank you madam for the task you gave to us. We enjoyed the roleplay and somehow I became a better person. At least I felt that way, I will also try my best to always give what I could do to my friends and lecturers. 

Before and After Proficiency English Roleplay

Our lecturer, Madam Soraya Sharifuddin gave us quite a tough task actually. As one and only main presentation for the subject Proficiency English, we are required to carry out an assignment. It is called “Roleplay”. In roleplay, everyone will have different character of person and all of us will have our own script too. When Madam Soraya told us about the roleplay, I felt quite excited actually because finally I able to see the ability of my other friends to act or communicate with each other in group. Some more for this roleplay, I decided to mix with my friends from different group too.

On my point of view, the main reason why Madam Soraya gave us this task is because she wanted to see the ability we have to speak in English. I was so nervous when I heard our lecturer mentioned that we all have to make a short drama and we have to act. I have low confidence of level at that time. I felt quite scared and nervous at the same time but I keep telling myself that I should just be myself and try my best.

In the beginning part of the discussion, everyone seems quite awkward and shy to talk to each other. We all pick Nurul Asyiqin as our group leader. As a group leader, she did a good job. I am really proud and she is an excellent leader from all of us. She would listen to the overall opinion before make decisions.

After about half an hour of discussing, everyone began to share out with their own ideas and thoughts to each other. After discussing, we all agree with the decision made by everyone. We decided to make a short drama called “ Sister Sister No Problem”. We spent such a good time together during our practice, we laugh, jokes with each other. We practiced till late night at college, because practice makes perfect.

On the day of the roleplay, I was nervous when I was riding bike from home to college. What in my mind at that time was something like “ oh god can I do well today”  or something like “ ahh how am I gonna impress all of them”. But then, I came early on the roleplay day and I was scrolling through an application called “pinterest”. In the app, It says “ be who you truly are because no one have the power over you”. Ever since I saw that quote, my confidence level became higher. I also start to trust my own ability. 

How To Be A Good Student

Everyone want to be a good student, either they are in school or as a college student. In order to become a good student, we must be prepared. We must bring our own stationary, such as books, files, paper and everything that we need.

Secondly, we must be organized. It is extremely important. One of the way to be organized is put each subjects paper into one folder. Use colour codes or label our folders with specific subjects. Next, we must pay attention in class. We must take notes, and if you don’t understand we must raise our hands and ask questions. The more questions we ask, the smarter we will get.

Besides, we need to try our best to avoid distractions in class. We must not distract others, and try to not get distracted by them. If our classmates are distracting us, tell them that you are focusing on the lesson. Tell them that you will talk with them during recess or after class dismissed. Other than that, we must review notes when we have free time. We must rewrite the notes we wrote earlier. It will help us to understand more.

Next, we must create mind maps. It is because mind maps can be helpful for understanding hard topics. Mind maps would be able to help with revising it before any exam or test. Besides, do our homework or assignment is a must. Doing homework is not a big deal because homework is something that student must do. When we do homework, it helps us to develop good habits and excellent attitudes. 

What Can I See In Myself Ten Years From Now

In the year 2016, I am currently studying in a college in Kuala Lumpur. I am enjoying every single moment of my life in this college. I enjoyed every single things I did. Ten years from now which is in the year 2026, I would definitely get a decent job with good salary and a job that could make my future become better. I would want to have a lot of money, big house and expensive cars because that is everyone's dream. After got a decent job, I will use the opportunities given by my boss. I will do my work on time, submit things before due date, do my best to secure the boss happiness. I would keep a lot of money to buy my own vehicle because it is for my future use. I would also probably own at least a car and a bike because it would not be nice to not have my own vehicle in the future. We all need to have vehicle when we grow up because if public transportation is not available, we need to use our own vehicle to go somewhere else.

Besides, I would probably fall in love with a girl either my college friend or my colleague in my working office. I want a girl that will accept how the person I am, ready to spend her life with me and will accept my advantages and flaws. I would start to keep money from my salary and will my special partner to go on a road trip or travel all around the world. Not only my special someone, I would also bring along my both parents because they are the reason behind my success. I would love to enjoy my whole life by travelling and enjoy the scenery. It is because I feel like we only live once, so we must use our whole life to the fullest.

What I Feel Right Now

Everyone will have their own feelings of how they currently feel and I have my own feelings too. Up till today, I feel happy with my current life. It is because back then I used to get tied up to someone special but once she decided to left me, she actually made a good move. It is because I could not be myself when I am around her, after I lost her I became the real me. She decided to left because she said she wanted to focus on her studies but actually she is currently in a relationship with one of my friend. Few days after the broke up I felt like I have nowhere to go because deep inside it hurts me real deep. Sometimes I will also remember back those memories I have with her but day by day, those assignments from lecturer made me busy until I forgot everything about her. It is a blessed that I broke up with her.

Besides, it is about my studies now. What I feel right now about my studies is that I feel happy and excited to at least have an opportunity to further my studies. I left school after 11 years in school since primary school till secondary school, and now I am finally in a college and enjoying my college life. I feel like I deserve to be in this college that are full with friendly and kind-hearted friends that I feel like nothing is stopping me from becoming good friends with them. I love my friends and the environment now. I used to be so broke and lost but now when I have new friends and enjoying my college life, I feel like I have to leave the past and start a something new. My college life is actually a new phase of my life. I want enjoy every single moment of my college life, take as many pictures as I could because all this will become memories that I would not forget for my whole life. I love the person I am right now and I love my friends. I would love to look forward to go through more adventure with them. I love you, my friends. 

Why Do I Have To Look Good

In the year 2016, fashion is one of the thing that need to have in everyone’s personality. This is because your fashion or the way you dress and wear make people judge the type of person you are. People nowadays like to judge people based on their personal apparel whether they look good or vice versa.

Why do I have to look good? Everyone need to take good care of their own personality based on their attitudes, their clothes and so on. And the same goes to me too. I have to look good because when you wear or look good, people will have positive assumption about you. It is because people nowadays judge our clothes rather than our behaviour.

I like to look good either when I hang out with friends, join my family for dinner or attend to college. It is because I am the type of person that will feel shame of myself when I look bad. It is because I don’t want my friends to have bad perception on me based on how I wear to college every single day. I myself, would not feel satisfied if I did not look good from the top to the bottom of me.
